Ohio Carrying Concealed Handgun (CCW) Course October 8th &15th , 2024, 6pm to 9pm, 2 Day Course

The class will be held at: In Genoa, Ohio at R Cafe 638 Main St, Genoa, Ohio 43430
Student will need a firearm and 50 rounds of ammuntion. All other material provided.
Cornell Defense provides the client the training and credentials required to apply for your Ohio Concealed Carry. It is designed to provide exceptional value for experienced shooters as well as those new to firearms as it covers safety, Ohio law, introduction to firearms and basic shooting fundamentals and practical application of instruction on the range.
The State of Ohio requires a Concealed Carry Class in order to apply for a Concealed Carry permit. The total time required for training in Ohio is 8 hours, which includes 6 hours of class and a minimum of 2 hours of in-person range time with a live-fire component.
Cornell Defense teaches our clients relevant laws regarding being a firearm owner and holding a Concealed Carry Permit. We instruct on firearms and ammunition safety as prescribed by law. Subjects covered are the uses and carrying of firearms, safe handling, and responsibility of ownership. We cover the introduction of ammunition, firearms, stances, and basic shooting fundamentals.
Cornell Defense believes in going far above the state minimum requirements. We want our clients to apply for their Concealed Carry Permit but more importantly, Cornell Defense will strive to make certain that all of our clients are safe, confident, and skilled in carrying a handgun.
Upon your successful completion of the class, you will receive a Cornell Defense certificate, which you may use to apply for a CCW license at a sheriff’s office.
You must be 21 years of age or older to apply for a concealed carry permit. However, you can take the class before you are 21 as a certificate of competency is good for 3 years in Ohio.
